By now, we all know the Amazon Fire tablet and Fire TV Stick as the most popular tablets for young people to own, and the Alexa-powered Echo smart speaker as the latest and greatest on the speaker market.
The same could be said for Amazon’s Echo smart speakers.
Now, Amazon has just announced its newest smart speaker, the Echo Mini.
In short, the Mini is a full-fledged speaker.
It’s a fully-functional smart speaker that supports Dolby Digital Plus audio and Bluetooth.
There are three versions of the Mini, the cheaper version is priced at $129.99, the more expensive one at $149.99.
Both models come with a $49.99 monthly Amazon Prime subscription.
The Echo Mini comes with a 12.1″ 1080p HD screen.
It has an 8.3mm headphone jack, and a 3.5mm stereo microphone jack.
The price of the Echo speaker is $129 and the Mini costs $149 when pre-ordered, but that price will rise to $179.99 when the device is officially released in the U.S. on September 20.
The Amazon Echo Mini also comes with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, which is now available for $99.99 on the Amazon website.
There’s also a $149 price tag for a new version of the Alexa speaker that’s compatible with Alexa, but it will still be compatible with other voice assistants like Google Assistant and Siri.
Both Echo Mini and Echo Mini 2 are $99 each.
Both devices come with Alexa speaker, 3.7mm stereo mic jack, USB Type-C port, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, and microSD card slot.
